Princeton Entrepreneurship Council (PEC) is proud to announce that it has recruited its first full-time staff member, Mayra Ceja ’03, during the first month of operation. Mung Chiang, Chair of PEC and Arthur LeGrand Doty Professor of Electrical Engineering, describes this as a key step in launching PEC as the advisory and coordination body for entrepreneurship at Princeton. “Mayra is an entrepreneur herself.” said Chiang, “She understands entrepreneurs, she appreciates Princeton’s unique education environment and spirit of service, and she has the incredible energy and enthusiasm to help us realize the vision of Entrepreneurship the Princeton Way.” Ceja is very well connected in the alumni entrepreneurship community, and brings rich experience to the exciting growth of entrepreneurship at Princeton under the leadership of President Eisgruber and Provost Lee. In addition to her new role at the university, Ceja continues to volunteer as the President of Princeton Entrepreneurs’ Network, an alumni organization that connects thousands of entrepreneurial Princetonians globally and organizes major events such as the Startup Business Competition during the annual reunion weekend.
