Event Description

Princeton Research Day is a celebration of the research, scholarly and creative work conducted by early-career researchers (undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs and other early-career non-faculty researchers) from across the campus in the arts and humanities, natural sciences, social sciences and engineering.

Presentations will take the form of 3-minute videos that the students create and submit.

Presenters can also create an optional poster to present in person at the PRD Mainstage poster/networking event on May 5.

Videos will be posted online and visible to the public. Our PRD judges will view and select presentations for awards and cash prizes.

The top videos will be featured at the in-person PRD Mainstage event, where awards will be presented.

New Award at PRD

New for 2022, Princeton Entrepreneurship Council is sponsoring the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Mindset Awards

One award will be given to an undergraduate research presentation, and another award will be given to a graduate student, postdoc or early career researcher presentation.

This award recognizes the impact that Princeton research and scholarship can have on the greater world. Impact can take many different forms – social impact, technical impact, community impact – and can be on large or small communities. The judges will evaluate the research on the clarity of the proposition value presented – and the proposition value is defined by the benefit that a customer or user group will receive from the idea proposed.

Award value: $1,000
