Event Description

The Envision Conference brings 150-200 engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, business leaders and policy makers to explore the ethics of technology. The full conference schedule and complete list of speakers is available at the official Envision Conference site.

The 3rd annual Envision Conference is based on team projects and interactive workshops. Small teams of participants have the opportunity to propose a product, research plan or policy that implements or improves a new technology. Our events are designed to provide a collaborative environment to discuss the ethical aspects of each project and orient the teams to a safety-conscious mindset.

The conference explores major problems such as the AI control problem, and visions for future social/political/economic systems that are enabled by technology. The workshops provide tools and frameworks to reduce risks associated with technology, and hands-on experience in applying these tools to specific projects.

Founded by students of Princeton University, Envision brings together future and current innovators, engineers, scientists, business leaders, intellectuals and policy makers to explore the implications of new technological trends. Our conference promotes the prudent use and development of technology, and aims to pioneer a brighter future through the education of influential leaders.

Application deadline: November 4, 2018 at 11:59pm.
