Princeton Club of Chicago is joining Princeton Entrepreneurship Council (PEC) to host the first of a regular series on entrepreneurship and the many ways Chicago-based alumni are involved in entrepreneurial pursuits.

PEC is a University organization that was formed three years to engage entrepreneurially-minded alumni in educational programming, mentoring and funding across technology, life sciences, social and arts enterprises. One of its signature event series, TigerTalks, starts its third season this fall in New York City and began traveling to cities elsewhere across the USA last year in San Francisco, Boston, and Los Angeles. PEC and Princeton Club of Chicago are pleased to bring TigerTalks on the Road to Chicago on Thursday, November 8.

The panel discussion, “Venturing Tigers”, will feature three outstanding local alumni who have founded and/or invested in startups across the spectrum. The three panelists are:

  • Eric Lunt ’92, Co-Founder and CTO Emeritus of Signal and former co-founder of FeedBurner, which Google acquired.
  • Coco Meers ’04, Founder of Rebelle Collective, a growth lab for digitally-enabled, female-led consumer companies and former Founder and CEO of PrettyQuick, acquired by Groupon.
  • Kristin Sonday ’09, Co-Founder and COO of Paladin, a social impact firm working to increase access to justice by helping legal teams run more efficient pro bono programs.

The panel will be moderated by Don Seitz ’79, Chairman of Inkubate and Assistant Director, Alumni Engagement at PEC. He will also share with the audience an overview of the many exciting entrepreneurial programs and initiatives rapidly expanding across campus and the broader Princeton ecosystem.

This event will be held on Thursday evening, November 8 at WeWork Kinzie in downtown Chicago starting at 6pm. All alumni and their guests are invited to attend this panel discussion followed by a networking reception.
