Bio/Description

Brigid McDermott, who holds a BSE in MAE from Princeton and a Master of Business Administration from MIT, started with IBM in 2006 and is currently the VP of Digital Transformation. Prior to this, Ms. McDermott was VP of IBM Food Trust. Before that she held many IBM roles including VP of Corporate Strategy and VP Global Sales Citigroup. Prior to IBM, Ms. McDermott worked for start-ups in the middleware space, McKinsey & Company and NEC. She started her career as an AI developer and is fluent in Japanese and conversational in Spanish and French.
