Carl Gershenson is the Director of Eviction Lab at Princeton University. He received his PhD in Sociology from Harvard University, where he began studying housing insecurity. His research with the Lab demonstrates how evictions worsen poverty and deepen inequalities, especially for low-income Black households and families with children.
