Courtney’s background combines deep knowledge and skills in data science and analytics with a passion for improving educational outcomes and opportunities for students. She is a co-founder and the chief operating officer at Schoolytics, a data platform for schools. Prior to founding Schoolytics, Courtney worked at Chegg for five years leading data science and analytics teams. Before joining Chegg, she spent nearly six years working on data and research initiatives at Teach For America (TFA). Courtney holds a PhD and MPhil in economics from the University of Oxford, a master’s in economics from the University of Paris - La Sorbonne, and a bachelor’s in economics from Princeton University. She currently serves as an elected school board member on the Los Gatos Union School Board and a board member at Breakthrough Silicon Valley.
