Dr. Elizabeth Troein is Founder and Owner of Carbontech Consulting LLC. She is a biogeochemist by training and holds a BA in Geosciences from Princeton University and a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Columbia University. She also held a Postdoctoral Fellowship position in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT, where she led synchrotron-based research programs as the PI and Co-PI. Dr. Troein is a former ARPA-E Fellow, and was previously Head of Science at Isometric, a carbon removal registry. Now, she provides fractional CSO and other services to carbon removal startups and performs scientific due diligence for carbon removal buyers and funders.
