
A graduate from the Princeton class of 2000, Gia serves as a Co-Chair and deal lead with Princeton Alumni Angels and a mentor with the NSF I-Corp Northeast Hub based out of Princeton. She is an active angel investor in early-stage companies focusing on healthcare, wellness and human performance.
Following graduation from Princeton, Gia went on to receive a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Human Movement Science from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She spent more than a dozen years in sports performance and orthopedics, treating collegiate, elite and professional athletes. She also attended the MBA program at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
During and following her time in clinical practice, Gia went on to found and join as an early employee across three different healthcare startups.
Outside of her work with PAA and investing Gia founded Let Her Play, a national non-profit organization working to increase girls’ participation in sports. A former two-sport athlete at Princeton, playing field hockey and ice hockey for the Tigers, Gia has grown to understand the value of her athletics experience in her career pursuits. The research supports her observations, and she’s working to give more girls the opportunity to learn key life skills through sports - helping them to reach their full potential.
