Karen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sandstone Diagnostics.

Karen is Chief Executive Officer and a board member of Sandstone Diagnostics, a company that is utilizing portable centrifugal technology to put a new spin on healthcare. She is a member of Women Corporate Directors, National Association of Corporate Directors, Stanford Women on Boards, Astia Angels, Springboard, and a board member for Resmed, an NYSE company focused on helping people breathe. She was also named 2013 Female Entrepreneur of the Year by the Stevie Awards and 2002 Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year by Silicon Valley Women’s Fund.

Karen received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSE from Princeton University.
