
Laurence Latimer is co-founder and co-chair of Princeton Alumni Angels of Greater NY. Princeton Alumni Angels (PAA) is an entrepreneurship and investment organization with over 1500 people globally. Since 2018, PAA has invested over $8M in 30+ companies.
Laurence is active in the broader startup community where he serves as a mentor with PEC's OfficeHours and Techstars. He founded and co-leads Homecoming, a network for Black angel investors. He is also an advisor to the Catalytic Impact Foundation, Build In Tulsa and several technology startups.
Laurence leads customer success and business development for Elemental Cognition (ec.ai), an explicable AI startup. Prior to this role, he spent 5 years at IEX Group where he was head of ventures. During his tenure at IEX, he was responsible for corporate and business development, venture investments, and the launch of 4 new businesses.
He is a Fellow of the 2019 class of the Aspen Institute’s Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Laurence earned a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs.
