Luke Armour '13

General Partner, Chaac Ventures

Luke is the Founder and Managing Partner of Chaac Ventures, a first-check venture capital firm focused on the Princeton University tech ecosystem. We were founded in March 2015 and have been investing in Princeton founders since.
At Chaac, he leads the investment team and the portfolio platform. He is a board member at two Chaac portfolio companies, Suspect Technologies (, a Boston-based facial recognition and redaction company, and CreateSafe (, a Los Angeles-based leader in music technology.

Luke also serves as an Advisor for HomeWorks Trenton (, a non-profit that provides academic and social enrichment activities, plus a stable and positive environment designed to equip inner-city women with the tools they need to move forward.

Prior to Chaac,he was a founding team member at Arrowroot Capital, which invests in B2B software companies. His background also includes Boldstart Ventures in New York City, and Brown Advisory, in Baltimore, MD.

Luke graduated from Princeton University in 2013, where I was a member of the Men’s Varsity Lacrosse team for four years. I now live in Los Angeles and enjoy playing basketball and tennis, and thinking of ways to support Chaac portfolio companies and the Princeton tech ecosystem.
