Bio/Description

A 2003 graduate of Princeton University with a master’s degree in healthcare administration from George Washington University, DeCecco was 3 x all –American, 2-time National champion, and 2-time National defender of the year lacrosse player. She is the only defender to win the Tewaaraton award in the history of the sport, and was recently inducted into the US Lacrosse National Hall of Fame. In addition to her success on the field, Rachael is the SVP of the Women's Professional Lacrosse League, and COO of the WPLL’s Foundation. She helped launch the WPLL in 2017 and has played a key role in the league’s early success, helping secure both the league’s first national brand deal and first nationally televised game.  During the spring, Rachael serves as a color commentator for NCAA women’s lacrosse on ESPN and the Ivy League Network.
